We are searching for an experienced Audit Technical Senior Manager.Make an Impact in our Audit Technical Team at RSM UKOur National Audit Technical Services (NATS) is responsible for maintaining and driving the technical quality of the audit firm''s operational procedures, providing technical support to partners and staff on technical accounting and financial reporting matters, and conducting quality control reviews.We need to expand our financial reporting and audit technical teams to meet anticipated growth in our audit practice, continue to provide technical accounting support, ensure quality is maintained, identify efficiencies in working practices, and lead on implementing financial reporting changes as they are published in the future. This is an exciting time to join the team as a Technical Senior Manager and be part of our journey!This role can be based out of any of our UK offices, but some travel will be expected to regional offices.You''ll make an impact by:

Acting as a financial reporting specialist on complex audits, providing audit teams with targeted expertise on the subject matter to support high audit qualityPerforming second opinion reviews of technical accounting matters under IFRS and UK GAAP, developing our audit teams in the processAssisting with financial and non-financial reporting consultations submitted to the firm’s service deskDrafting corporate reporting internal technical communications and practice aidsBeing a point of contact for informal technical queries from client-facing Partners and staff in your local region but also supporting other offices nationwideWhat we are looking for:

Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:ACA/ACCA qualified - or equivalentExperience of working as a Manager or Senior Manager within a technical team would be preferred; however, candidates from larger firms working on audit methodology will also be consideredStrong IFRS and UK GAAP financial reporting knowledgeExperience of performing technical reviews of UK Premium, Standard, and AIM listed entity financial statements to ensure compliance with reporting requirementsExcellent written and interpersonal communication skillsWhat we can offer you:
