In this role you will provide specialist pharmacy technician input to Oncology/Haematology inpatients and outpatients, managing the efficient day-to-day running of the p harmacy. Duties include: Taking medication histories Completing medicines reconciliation at admission and discharge Counselling patients or carers on medications, providing clear advice and support tools to ensure understanding and adherence Working with the pharmacists, be responsible for preparing information for patients about their medicines Carrying out the final accuracy check of dispensed medicines in both the Oncology/Haematology and main dispensaries Supporting the pharmacy homecare team in managing oncology and haematology patients receiving treatment via homecare services Where you''ll be based Our hospital is conveniently located on the outskirts of Chelmsford with plenty of free parking onsite.
