Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller Finchley, N3 Office-Based Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm Salary: £40k to £45k (can be flexible for the right person) A professional services firm in Finchley is looking for an experienced Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is a varied role covering credit control, sales and purchase ledger, payroll support, VAT returns, reconciliations, and assisting with management accounts. Key Responsibilities Manage credit control and debt recovery processes Maintain sales and purchase ledger records Prepare supplier payment runs and other business payments Handle customer and supplier queries professionally Assist with payroll, pensions, and VAT returns Perform bank reconciliations and maintain financial records Support the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasting Ensure accurate filing and record keeping About You Part-qualified, fully qualified, or qualified by experience Previous experience within a professional services firm Strong credit control and accounts experience Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Xero, Sage, and cloud-based accounting systems Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication and customer service skills Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance professional who enjoys a hands-on role within a busy and professional office ..... full job details .....
