HGV Motor Mechanic Gatwick Airport Salary: £48,000 - £52,000pa Location: Gatwick, West Sussex Are you an experienced HGV Mechanic looking for an exciting new challenge? We are expanding our teams at Gatwick Airport and are seeking skilled HGV Technicians / Mechanics to work on a wide range of ground service equipment (GSE). In this role, you ll use your mechanical expertise to service, maintain, and repair specialist airside vehicles such as towing tractors, aircraft tugs, baggage elevators, and more, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Carry out mechanical and electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules. Complete all documentation and records accurately. Provide excellent service to internal stakeholders. Comply with health and safety regulations. Liaise with internal customers to ensure equipment availability. HGV Mechanic Working Hours: 4 on 4 off 12hr day shifts (6:00- 18:00 spring/ summer. 05:00- 17:00 Autumn/ Winter) About You: Previous GSE or HGV mechanical experience is desirable. Level 3 NVQ in vehicle maintenance and repair or equivalent level.
