First Line Manager Ophthalmology circa £75,000 - £85,000 + Car Allowance + Private Healthcare + Pension London / South East We are recruiting for a First Line Manager on behalf of a growing ophthalmic company with a strong UK presence and global reach. This is a field-based commercial leadership role and a key hire for the business. It is a great opportunity for someone with previous pharmaceutical sales leadership experience who enjoys building, developing and motivating teams, whilst also remaining close to customers and the market. The role will cover the London / South East and would suit someone with experience leading teams within pharma, ideally with exposure to hospital, formulary and ICB networks. Previous ophthalmology experience would be highly advantageous. The Role As First Line Manager, you will have the following roles and responsibilities: Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing sales team Spend the majority of your time in the field, coaching and supporting team members Drive sales performance through strong business planning, KPI management and clear expectations Work closely with the team on account planning, customer targeting and territory activity Support market access and formulary success through a strong understanding of the hospital and ICB landscape Build relationships with key stakeholders including Ophthalmologists, ICBs and other healthcare professionals Use data, insight and commercial awareness to identify opportunities and improve perfo
