We are a leading construction and property services business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across London and the UK. Our team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to support a busy finance department on a temporary basis.The Role

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payments to suppliers. You7ll work within the finance team to keep the purchase ledger up to date and support the smooth running of the business.Key Responsibilities:

Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficientlyMatching, batching, and coding invoicesReconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepanciesAssisting with payment runs and ensuring payments are made on timeHandling supplier queries professionallySupporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as requiredSkills and Experience Required:

Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable roleStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsConfident using accounting software and Microsoft ExcelGood communication skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and colleaguesExperience in construction or property services (advantageous but not essential)How to Apply
