The CNC Turner Role

• Program, set and operate CNC turning machines using Siemens controls.
• Work on DMG CLX 350 and 450 machines.
• Produce precision components from engineering drawings.
• Use Hypermill for CNC programming.
• Work with driven tooling and twin-spindle machines.
• Edit and optimise programs to maintain component quality and machining efficiency.
• Inspect your own work to ensure components meet drawing specifications and tolerances.
• Work closely with engineering and production colleagues to meet delivery requirements.
• Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping and safe working.

CNC Turner Experience Required

• Proven CNC turning experience, including machine setting and operation.
• Experience using Siemens controls.
• Programming experience using Hypermill.
• Experience with driven tooling and twin spindles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• A good understanding of inspection and quality control processes.
• Relevant CNC machining training or qualifications.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
