Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing Environment) Location: Coventry area Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + overtime + on-call payments Hours: Days, 8:00am - 4:30pm moving to afters ? Holidays: 30 days + Christmas shutdown The Role We are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer Elec bias to join a well-established manufacturing site operating within a fast-paced production environment. You''ll work as part of a skilled engineering team ensuring plant, production, and packing equipment runs safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role suits a hands-on, time-served engineer with strong fault-finding ability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Communicate effectively with engineering colleagues and production teams via shift logs and email systems Accurately record data and plant readings, including industrial refrigeration systems Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to mechanical and electrical equipment to minimise downtime Use planned preventative maintenance (PPM) systems effectively Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production Work on a wide variety of equipment including: Pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems Three-phase electrics, inverters and PLCs Compressed air systems Industrial refrigeration Mechanical components such as bearings and drives About You Time-served engineer or completed apprenticeship (electrical qualification preferred) Strong background in manufacturing or FMC
