The organisation delivers essential infrastructure services across a range of long-term contracts and frameworks and is looking to strengthen its senior estimating capability. Your new roleAs Managing Estimator, you will take a lead role in the pricing and commercial development of strategic highways and street-lighting term maintenance tenders.You will be responsible for developing robust, competitive and commercially viable estimates, while establishing tender pricing strategies that consider risk, opportunity and market intelligence. Key responsibilities will include: Leading the development and pricing of major highways and term maintenance tenders Producing detailed estimates from first principles Preparing and reviewing cost models covering labour, plant, materials, subcontractors, preliminaries and overheads Developing tender pricing strategies and identifying commercial risks and opportunities Leading and coordinating estimating, operational, commercial, procurement and bid inputs Managing supply chain enquiries, quotation reviews and adjudications Presenting pricing recommendations at tender governance and sign-off reviews Supporting client clarification meetings and commercial negotiations Undertaking estimate assurance and peer reviews Coaching and mentoring other estimating professionals Driving continuous improvement and best ..... full job details .....
