We are seeking a hands-on, motivated leader to oversee site operations across South Cumbria, delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Working on a variety of civil engineering, groundworks, environmental and infrastructure projects, you''ll be responsible for managing the workface, coordinating resources, and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. The Role As Team Leader, you''ll take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of projects while remaining actively involved in practical site operations. Key Responsibilities: Deliver daily briefings and communicate RAMS to ensure safe working practices. Plan labour, plant, materials, tooling and site access to maintain productivity and avoid delays. Read and interpret drawings, set out works or coordinate setting out requirements. Identify and resolve technical issues before they impact delivery. Lead safety, quality and environmental compliance on site. Maintain accurate site records and documentation. Coordinate effectively with clients, principal contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.
