Project: Luxury Hotel Bathroom Refurbishments

Contek Recruitment Solutions is currently sourcing 2x Experienced Plumbers and 2x Plumber’s Mates for a 19-week commercial contract at the prestigious Greywalls Hotel in Muirfield. This project involves high-specification bathroom installations and refurbishments within a luxury hospitality setting.

Plumber’s Mates (2 Required) You will work directly alongside our qualified plumbers to ensure the refurbishment stays on schedule, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

• Key Duties: Assisting with 1st and 2nd fix installations, manual handling of sanitaryware and materials, preparing work areas, and general site upkeep.
• Requirements:
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Previous site experience assisting pipefitters or plumbers.
  • Basic hand tools and full PPE.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability for the full 19-week duration.

Commercial Plumbers (2 Required) You will be responsible for delivering high-quality 1st and 2nd fix plumbing across multiple hotel suites and bathrooms, ensuring all finishes meet the exacting standards of a luxury venue.

• Key Duties: 1st and 2nd fix installation, fitting high-end sanitaryware, modifying existing pipework, and final testing/commissioning.
• Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating.
  • Valid JIB-PMES / CSCS Card.
  • Proven background in commercial refurbishments (hotel experience is highly advantageous).
  • Own standard tools and full PPE.
  • Ability to work cleanly and efficiently in a high-end environment.

What We Offer

• Consistent Work: Secure, 19-week ongoing contract.
• Hours: Minimum 40-50 hours per week
• Plumbers Mate Rate: £18-£20 CIS
• Plumbers Rate: £25-£28 – CIS
