Interim Data Protection Specialist3-6 Months Initially Hybrid £250-400 a day DOEASAP StartWe are recruiting for an experienced Data Protection Specialist to join a growing organisation on an interim basis.This is a hands-on operational role focused on managing Subject Access Requests (SARs), supporting GDPR compliance and improving data protection processes. This is not a strategic lead position; we are looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, managing requests and delivering practical privacy support.Key Responsibilities:Manage the end-to-end SAR process, ensuring accurate and timely responsesHandle other data subject rights requests, including erasure and restriction requestsReview information, apply redactions and assess exemptions under UK GDPRMaintain accurate records and reportingSupport DPIAs, data breaches and privacy compliance activitiesProvide practical data protection advice to stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to improve and streamline privacy processesExperience Required:2-5 years'' experience in Data Protection, Privacy, Information Governance or ComplianceStrong experience managing SARs / DSARsGood understanding of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018Experience handling sensitive information and working with multiple stakeholdersStrong organisational skills with a process improvement mindsetExperience within a regulated environment and knowledge of privacy tools (e.g. SAR/eDiscovery systems) would be beneficial.This is a great opportunity ..... full job details .....
