A financial services organisation based in Chippenham is currently recruiting a Financial Controller to join their team on a 12-month basis. This role is to help manage the business during a period of structural/ownership reorganisation and is an excellent opportunity for anyone happy to commit to a contract position. Duties will include: Managing a team of five, overseeing the month end process Produce a full set of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting Prepare and review accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements Ownership of year end and statutory accounting Assisting with the audit process Providing Group with required accounting information for reorganisation Ensuring company compliance with financial services accounting regulations Ad hoc project accounting work as requested by Group The successful candidate will hold a professional accountancy qualification and have worked at a similar level of seniority previously. Financial services background an advantage but not essential.
