As part of this growth, the firm is looking to appoint a VAT Manager to join its Tax team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced VAT professional who enjoys advisory work and is looking for a role where they can take ownership of projects, build strong client relationships and play a part in developing a growing indirect tax offering. The position can be based from Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle or Glasgow, with flexible and hybrid working available.Your new roleWorking closely with the VAT Senior Manager and wider tax leadership team, you''ll support clients across a variety of sectors with complex VAT and indirect tax matters. Your responsibilities will include:Managing your own portfolio of VAT advisory projectsSupporting on more complex VAT advisory assignments alongside senior members of the teamActing as a key point of contact for clients and responding to ad hoc VAT queriesIdentifying tax planning and wider advisory opportunities across the client portfolioKeeping up to date with changes in VAT legislation, case law and HMRC guidance, identifying where these could impact clientsManaging projects against agreed timescales and budgetsBuilding strong relationships with colleagues across the wider firm to identify opportunities for VAT supportDeveloping relationships with ..... full job details .....
