This role involves performing both reactive and planned maintenance on all machinery within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in a manufacturing setting.Day-to-day of the role:Perform reactive and planned maintenance on various types of machinery.Keep the MaintainX system updated with all maintenance tasks and schedules.Organise and manage contractors and machine services.Control and manage spare parts inventory for machines.Maintain accurate records of all service and contractor documentation.Conduct routine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.Provide assistance to the Production department as needed.Participate in an Out of Hours Call Out rota to handle emergency maintenance issues.Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the maintenance department.Required Skills and Qualifications:Completion of an apprenticeship in electrical engineering or a related field, coupled with relevant experience.ONC/BTEC or HNC/BTEC in Electrical Engineering.17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficient in using Mitsubishi PLCs and HMIs.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focu
