Reporting to the Director of Children''s Services, the postholder will lead Children in Care, Leaving Care, Corporate Parenting and Disabled Children''s Services, whilst supporting the authority''s Families First, reunification and service improvement agenda. The client is looking for a credible and values-led senior leader with significant experience across Children in Care, safeguarding, permanence and care leaver services. The successful candidate will need strong partnership skills, particularly with health colleagues, and the ability to navigate complex placement sufficiency, SEND and funding challenges.
