Payroll Advisor

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a large multiservice in the Wakefield area who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Advisor to join their team. They provide an excellent working environment, work from home opportunity and it is an exciting opportunity to get involved in projects and transformation projects. Key Duties/Tasks:Technical skills including payroll system experience and excel skillsSupport the busy payroll departmentExperience dealing with multiple payrolls of varying shift patternsMust have very strong Excel (VLookUps/Pivot Tables)High volume and fast paced roleProvide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queriesEnsuring all necessary payments are made within the deadlines set, for example Reconciliations.Manual calculations of overtimes and bouses for exampleExperience of T and A system essentialVery technical payroll responsibilities Desirable skills and attributes:3-5 years payroll experience essentialPrevious payroll experience in a fast paced and high-volume environmentA keen eye for detailEnjoy working within a teamExcellent communicatorConfident with ExcelExperience of working independentlyCIPP qualification advantageous BenefitsStandard pensionUp to 25 days paid holiday each year plus public holidays.Hybrid workingFlexitimeDiscounts along with other benefitsNormal working hours are 40 hours per week, 8:00am to 5.00pm with 1-hour unpaid break.To hear more about this fantastic opportunity please feel free to give me a call o
