Job Title: Welding and Brazing Technician Location: Sunbury-On-Thames Hours: 07:30 - 16:00 (Mon - Thurs), 07:30 - 13:00 (Fri) Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Welding and Brazing Technician, responsible for assembling mechanical products according to technical drawings and specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, soldering and brazing skills. Key Responsibilities:Assemble sub-assemblies, including fans, motors and heaters.Use hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers, allen keys, torque wrenches), electric power tools and measuring equipment, such as verniers and micrometresSoldering on small componentsFit and bend pipes as needed for product assemblyWork in compliance with PUWER regulationsFollow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical drawings to complete assembly tasksExperience Required:Proven experience in mechanical assembly, with a solid understanding of assembly processesExperience reading and understanding engineering drawingsProficiency in the use of measuring equipment, such as verniers and micrometres, to ensure precise assemblyBrazing skills and plasma welding experience (desirable)Experience in pipe fitting and/or pipe bendingSoldering qualifications (desirable)F-Gas accreditation (desirable)Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectivelyAdditional Requirements:Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for BPSS ClearanceMust be able to provide 3 years
