Estimator/Senior Estimator Residential Civils Location: Wakefield Salary: Competitive + Car Allowance + Benefits Lemon Drizzle Recruitment is working with an established and growing civil engineering contractor looking to strengthen their pre-construction team with the appointment of an Estimator. The role will focus on residential civils projects, pricing packages including plot works, roads, sewers, drainage, earthworks and associated groundworks for major housebuilders across the region. The Role Working as part of the pre-construction team, you ll be responsible for preparing accurate and commercially competitive tenders for residential infrastructure and groundworks projects. You ll review tender documentation and drawings, undertake take-offs, obtain and assess supply chain quotations and build up detailed costs from first principles. Key Responsibilities Prepare estimates and tender submissions for residential civils projects Price plot works, roads, sewers, drainage, earthworks and groundworks packages Carry out quantity take-offs and cost planning Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations Identify commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering options Prepare pricing information for tender reviews and adjudications Work closely with commercial and operational teams Produce detailed handover information for secured projects What We re Looking For Previous estimating experience within ..... full job details .....
