Mechanical Project Manager

Salary up to -58,000 + Company Car | Monday-Friday | Office-Based

We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join an established projects division, managing multiple projects simultaneously, with individual project values exceeding -1.8 million.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team in a stable, long-term position, taking ownership of projects from initial site surveys and design through to installation and commissioning.

• Managing multiple mechanical projects from start to completion.
• Carrying out site surveys and liaising directly with customers.
• Producing general arrangement and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD 2D (3D experience advantageous).
• Ordering materials, parts and equipment.
• Coordinating suppliers, negotiating costs, monitoring lead times and supplier performance.
• Monitoring project costs and budgets to maximise profitability.
• Organising and overseeing installation teams.
• Managing deliveries, site logistics and installation schedules.
• Arranging and coordinating commissioning.

• Minimum 2 years'' experience in Project Management.
• HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years'' AutoCAD experience.
• Experience managing mechanical projects.
• Air systems or conveyor systems experience would be advantageous.
• Confident dealing with customers, suppliers and installation teams.
• Strong organisational, commercial and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

• Salary up to -58,000, depending on experience.
• Company car.
• Monday-Friday
