The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle care. Must have experience with containers and commercial driving, along with a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to road regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to specified locations. Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to legal driving hours and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly. Secure cargo appropriately on containers, ensuring safe transport throughout the journey. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status. Follow all road safety laws and company policies during transportation activities. Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.
