Salary:

Up to £45,000 depending on skills and experience

What you''ll be doing:

Contract management to existing Submarine Combat Systems (SMCS) projectsGiving commercial guidance to other functions on commercial mattersLiaising with customers from both MoD and commercial organisationsIssuing deliverables, confirming milestones have been achieved and administrating the release of lines for paymentProcessing contract change requests and being responsible for commercial governance of bids for such changesAttending weekly meetings with the customer, supporting with accruals reportingAdministering MS Dynamics, SAP sales orders and, where required, DEFCARS reportingUndertaking business winning activities within a bid team to secure new projects and / or future scopes of work

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

Demonstrated experience in commercial and contract managementStrong financial awareness and commercial judgementBackground in commercial or procurement rolesProven ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively

Desirable:

Familiarity with drafting, reviewing, or negotiating terms and conditionsPrior experience working with defence contracts or in a defence environment
