Futures are recruiting a skilled Site Installation Engineer on behalf of a generator business. This role suits a confident electrical engineer with generator installation experience, high-voltage competence and the ability to work autonomously on customer sites.You will take ownership of installation activities, coordinate with customers and contractors, and deliver work safely, efficiently and to specification.Key responsibilities Install and connect generators, associated equipment and electrical infrastructure.Undertake high-voltage work within your qualifications, competence and formal authorisation.Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and installation specifications.Identify faults, resolve installation issues and support testing, commissioning and handover.Manage day-to-day site activities independently, escalating issues when required.Follow site safety procedures, risk assessments, permit-to-work systems and isolation requirements.Maintain accurate installation records and communicate progress to the project team.
