You will be working with children with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language needs, sensory processing disorders, physical disabilities and communication difficulties.As a Learning Support Assistant, you will learn about the cognitive, behavioural and emotional needs of each student and how to attend to these. You will help identify triggers and barriers to learning, as well as implementing your knowledge of psychological theory and apply it in the classroom.
