Field Service Engineer

Location: Kent (Field-Based)
Salary: £36,000 Basic + Door-to-Door Pay + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday
On-Call: 1 in 4 Weekends (Paid)

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established service team supporting industrial laundry equipment across Kent and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Field Service Engineer looking for a stable, long-term role with strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and a healthy work–life balance. You will work independently across customer sites, delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and repair.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair industrial laundry equipment at customer sites
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Install and commission new equipment
• Provide technical support and advice to customers
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately
• Participate in a 1-in-4 weekend on-call rota
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations

Skills & Experience

• Electrical bias is essential, with strong mechanical knowledge
• Previous experience working as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Service Engineer
• Backgrounds considered include:
• Industrial or commercial laundry equipment
• Commercial equipment
• White goods / domestic appliances
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
• Full UK driving licence
