Main duties will include:Typing correspondence required on a daily basisOpening files, giving quotes and typing quote lettersInitial letters to all partiesTaking telephone calls, liaising with Clients, Agents, other Solicitors, Brokers and other third partiesSome exchanges and exchange lettersPost exchange searches, drafting transfers and requisitionsAccounts slips and accounts work on closing old filesCompletion slips and lettersPost completion work, registrations, stamping and schedulingDiarising appointments and chase datesBooking rooms for appointmentsAttending Clients visiting the officePhotocopying and filing documents as requiredPreparation of Legal and other forms as requiredAssisting in preparation of Bills for Clients as requiredEnsuring appropriate accounts slips are prepared for Client receipts and paymentsManaging email correspondenceCandidate requirements:Accurate, competent typist with experience of residential conveyancingAptitude to learn new systemsAbility to learn Legal Office case management systemOrganised and professional in approach with ability to handle pressurised situationsAbility to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are achievedComfortable working with figuresAbility to use all Microsoft applications, especially Word, Excel and Ou
