Working across hardware, software, mechanical design, certification and project management, you will take products from requirements through to robust, evidence-backed sign-off. The team is advancing sensor technology, machine learning, IoT connectivity, integrated manufacturing and full-stack software solutions. The role Write clear, traceable test specifications, protocols and reports. Functional, environmental, EMC, ingress-protection, mechanical and life testing across hardware, firmware and mechanical assemblies. Analyse results, report product readiness, raise and track defects, and work with engineering teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes. Design and maintain test rigs, fixtures and jigs for development and production testing. Develop automated test methods and scripts, including Python where appropriate, to improve test coverage and repeatability. Maintain calibration and measurement traceability for test equipment. Support certification, pre-compliance testing, engineering changes, component substitutions, production investigations and field-return analysis. Maintain accurate, audit-ready test records and support junior team members.
