We are currently recruiting for a Technical Manager to join a specialist construction business supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across the public sector, social housing, and general construction in London and the South East.This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in Construction or Project Management, strong commercial awareness, and a consultative approach to guide clients from project feasibility through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:Lead the delivery of technical support services across a portfolio of construction projectsAct as a liaison between clients and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery and high standardsProvide expert technical input throughout all stages of building programmesConduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure client expectations are metSupport contractors in adhering to compliance, technical standards, and pricing frameworksMaintain accurate records and audit trails using CRM systemsShare best practices and ensure national standards are consistently appliedBuild and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholdersManage and support a team of up to 10 individuals

Candidate Profile:Valid UK driving licence (you must be able to drive across London and South East to various site locations)Qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related fieldProven experience managing construction projects from feasibility to completionBackground in social housing, public sector, or local authority construction projectsProficient in using CRM systems or similar project databasesStrong interpersonal and client-facing skillsExperience managing and developing teams
