Pre-Production Manager Required in Stevenage GVR Solutions are currently working with a reputable and longstanding joinery contractor based in Stevenage. This paticular client specialise in the design, production and installation of joinery products across the Commercial, Residential, Leisure and Education sectors. The role requires the individual to be a co-ordinator between the client and our design/production teams, to procure and organise the project information, pursue the information with vigour to ensure the timely receipt, but ensuring an exceptional level of professionalism when doing so. The individual will be a key figure in the external face of the businesses, so attitude to the role and our clients must be to the highest level. Responsibilities of the Pre-Production Manager: Receive from the Estimator all information pertaining for the project, understand the nature of the works in detail and gain an understanding of the time frames for the project. Discuss with the team all of the outstanding information and pursue these with the clients. Organise and attend design meetings (where appropriate) with the clients team. Co-ordinate all aspects of the project post this meeting. Set time frames with the client for all outstanding information, and pursue in a timely fashion. Communicate with the client if and when the information is not forthcoming, and co-ordinate the revision of delivery times following any delays caused by this lack of information flow. Consult wi
