What You’ll Do

Provide technical advice during design and construction to ensure work qualityAssist in proposal preparation, maintain relationships with clients, and conduct other business development related tasksRepresent Weston and Sampson during relevant public engagement opportunitiesAssist in maintaining the company library to include:Purchase all technical books and publicationsMaintain reference files of state (CMRs) and federal regulations (CFRs) needed by staffMaintain master specifications, updating as neededReview all specifications prepared by technical staff for consistency, format, and technical correctnessAssist project engineers in preparation of specifications and advise design team on constructability of designsMaintain standard drafting details by working with the Quality and Design Technology management teamProvide other assistance as needed by the Construction Services Manager

What You Will Bring

BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering5+ years of experience in consulting engineering or construction managementProven track record of technical competence and familiarity with construction specificationsStrong understanding of technical disciplines commonly utilized by subconsultantsAbility to meet deadlines and work within a team
