Working across public and private sector projects, the business offers a collaborative, people-first culture and a varied portfolio of technically challenging work across multiple sectors.The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Edinburgh team, reporting to the Principal Engineer. You will lead and deliver structural design, inspection, assessment and refurbishment projects across buildings, bridges and industrial structures, working closely with clients, contractors and colleagues to develop safe, practical and cost-effective solutions.Key responsibilities include:Delivering structural design, assessment and refurbishment projects, including foundations and temporary works where required.Undertaking site inspections, asset assessments and construction support.Applying British Standards, Eurocodes and relevant industry guidance.Preparing calculations, technical reports, drawings, sketches and design documentation.Managing design risks, quality assurance, health and safety, and commercial considerations.Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and coordinating project delivery.Building client relationships, defining scopes of work and contributing to proposals, tenders and business development.About ..... full job details .....
