JOB DESCRIPTIONAbout the role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Concierge to join our team at India House, Manchester (M1 6LG) on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Estates Services Manager, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and secure living environment for the residents at India House. Key duties of this role include access control, CCTV monitoring, and communal cleaning to support the day-to-day operation of the building. Our concierge team members work shifts ensuring we are there for our residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be covering a combination of day shifts (8.30AM - 8.30PM) and night shifts (8.30PM - 8.30AM) on a rota basis. What we are looking for A confident and professional communicator who can provide excellent customer service to -residents and visitors and handle feedback and concerns in a positive and proactive manner. You will also be able to demonstrate these skills: Essential: Previous Concierge experience in a residential setting. Excellent time management. Good team working skills and flexible approach to work. Good level of IT skills and knowledge of CCTV operation. Direct experience of working with customers and dealing with customer feedback in a service delivery environment. Strong understanding of the importance of health and safety compliance.
