We are working with an established MandE Contractor who is looking to appoint a mechanically biased Site Manager or Project Manager to oversee the mechanical installation works on a new-build modular mental health hospital. The project comprises a two-storey facility with over 50 bedrooms, treatment rooms and associated facilities, incorporating extensive mechanical building services installations. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day delivery of mechanical installations on site. Manage and coordinate mechanical subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme. Supervise installations including plant rooms, air source heat pumps, air handling units, HVAC systems and underfloor heating. Coordinate site activities and liaise with the wider project delivery team. Take ownership of mechanical works throughout the 12-month programme. Ideal Background Strong background in mechanical building services / MandE contracting. Experience as a Mechanical Site Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Mechanical Supervisor. Good technical understanding of plant rooms, HVAC, heating and associated mechanical systems. Confident managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities.
