Reeson Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Putney who are seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

You''ll be working on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year 5, supporting their learning, development, and engagement in the classroom. The pupil requires additional support with focus, behaviour, and emotional regulation, so a calm, patient and proactive approach is essential.

• 1:1 support for a child in Year 5 with additional learning needs

• Assisting with in-class tasks, providing encouragement and focus

• Helping the pupil access the curriculum and stay engaged in learning

• Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO

• Supporting social and emotional development through consistent and nurturing support

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN or in KS2 settings

• Confident working 1:1 with pupils who may display challenging behaviour

• Calm, empathetic and resilient approach

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for supporting young learners

• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one

• A supportive and experienced senior leadership team

• Warm, inclusive ethos with a focus on pupil wellbeing

• Ongoing CPD and development opportunities

• Close to Putney and East Putney stations - excellent transport links
