This is an excellent opportunity for a committed social worker to join a safeguarding-focused team and make a positive difference to children and families. Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risk, need and vulnerability.Develop, implement and review effective intervention and safeguarding plans to achieve positive outcomes.Manage and reduce risk to children through timely safeguarding actions and effective care planning.Provide support, guidance and advocacy to children and families, ensuring the child''s voice remains central to decision-making.Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals, including health, education, police and other safeguarding services.Monitor children''s welfare and progress, ensuring statutory duties and safeguarding responsibilities are met.Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality case recordings, assessments and reports.Participate in strategy discussions, child protection conferences, core groups and court proceedings where required.Promote the safety, wellbeing and long-term stability of children and young people.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and safeguarding procedures.
