Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years. Our client now has a requirement for an experienced CMM Operator. 365 Resourcing are the preferred supplier working on behalf of Mazak. We are currently recruiting for a CMM Inspector within the Machining-Quality Department. After initial training this role will be working a Double Day Shift pattern in the Inspection Room. The role Program and operate our Zeiss Prismo CMM inspection machines. Complete independent Diametric and Geometric checks on both WIP and finished parts using the Zeiss CMM machines in the inspection room. Communicate any discrepancies with operators and team leaders. Recheck adjusted work for compliance to drawing and SOP requirements. Read and interpret Zeiss Calypso results and relate to machining activities. Collate data to liaise and aid in improvement activities with Machining Process Engineers. The person Quality and productivity focused, confident, flexible and highly motivated. Good communication skills are essential. Adept in Problem Solving. Good skills in mathematics, specifically trigonometry. Essential Criteria Experience of operating CMM machines. Have an understanding in how to navigate Windchill or similar PLM systems. Understand and can interpret engineering drawings. Desirable Criteria Program
