I am looking for a Cloud Engineer to join my client on an initial 6 or 12 month engagement. This will be working for a high profile Defence client so you MUST have active eDV / UKIC DV Clearance to be considered for this role.You should have expertise in several of the following areas:Extensive experience with AWS and a strong ability to address complex business challenges, recognized as a subject matter expert in AWSProven skill in architecting and implementing solutions using AWS services, including EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, KMS, ELB, SNS, SQS, and IAMProficiency in scripting with languages such as Shell, Bash, or PythonSolid understanding of Linux systems, networking, routing, and firewall configurationsA deep grasp of AWS operational best practices, particularly in monitoring, observability, and FinOpsExpertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, and TerraformAdditionally, it would be advantageous to have experience with:AWS Associate-level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps)Coding proficiency in at least one language compatible with AWS LambdaWorking with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, EKS, and ECSImplementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, TeamCity, or BitbucketConducting automated testing of code using appropriate testing frameworkYou will be expected to be onsite minimum of three
