Qualified Nursery Assistant Hours: Monday Friday, Part-Time or Full-Time, 3 5 Days Per Week Shift: 8:00am 6:30pm Location: Slough Start Date: ASAP / September Start Available UES1 About the Role We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming Early Years setting in Slough. You will support children with their learning, development and daily routines, helping to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in line with the EYFS. Key Responsibilities Support children s learning and development through engaging activities Assist with EYFS activities and daily routines Support children s communication and social development Help with meals, personal care and transitions Observe and record children s progress Promote positive behaviour and independence Maintain a safe and stimulating environment Work closely with the nursery team and families What We re Looking For Essential: Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or equivalent Previous nursery or Early Years experience Good understanding of the EYFS Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Right to Work in the UK Desirable: Experience working with children aged 0 5 Paediatric First Aid Experience supporting children with additional needs ..... full job details .....
