The Role – Year 2 Teacher
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Teacher to join our team from April 2026. You will take full responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging and structured lessons that support pupils in preparation for the end of Key Stage 1 assessments.

A key part of this role will include planning and leading targeted intervention groups to support pupils in phonics, reading, writing, and maths. You will use assessment data effectively to identify gaps in learning and adapt your teaching to ensure all pupils make strong progress.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, confidence in preparing pupils for SATs, and the ability to create a focused yet supportive classroom environment. Strong behaviour management and a proactive, nurturing approach are essential.
