Plasterer- Social Housing

Key Responsibilities: Carry out a range of repairs and maintenance work across various trades, including plumbing, carpentry, tiling, plastering, and decorating. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure work is completed in line with health and safety standards. Work efficiently to ensure that all properties meet the required housing standards and are safe, functional, and habitable. Liaise directly with tenants to schedule and complete maintenance tasks with minimal disruption. Manage materials and equipment required for tasks, ensuring cost efficiency. Ensure all documentation and reports are accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner. Key Requirements: Proven experience in multiple trades (plumbing, carpentry, tiling, plastering, and/or decorating). A valid driving license, as travel between properties is required. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Relevant qualifications or certifications in trades (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3, City and Guilds, etc.). Experience working within social housing or a similar sector is desirable but not essential. Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
