The Role - 1:1 Teaching Assistant

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to a child in Year 2 with ADHD throughout the school day. You will help them engage with lessons, manage behaviour positively and to make progress academically and socially. You will work alongside the class teacher and SENCO, implementing individual support strategies and you will adapt your approach to suit the pupil''s needs. The successful candidate will be a patient, proactive and nurturing individual, when supporting children with complex needs. Previous experience working with ADHD or other SEN is essential for this role.
