Working within an established Raw Materials team for a global group of apparel brands, this is a truly exciting entry level role (Trainee Raw Materials Technologist ) into the department. You will be degree educated, and must be able to demonstrate some technical understanding and a strong interest in a career focussed in raw materials, colour, fabric management and sustainability. Trainee Raw Materials Technologist Responsibilities may include: Working alongside the design and purchasing team under guidance from the raw materials technologists, sourcing and developing a range of product types including warp / weft fabrics, elastics, laces and embroideries and a range of components. Contributing to the colour approval process to ensure labdyes and 1st bulk are approved to meet the business critical path. Maintaining and evolving processes for inputting electronic product/colour and care label information within internal platforms including PLM, Portal and ERP systems. Data Management of raw materials and raw material attributes. Interact with designers, technologists and suppliers to facilitate accurate transfer of information.
