Project Manager – Retail Construction – Fareham, Hampshire
Location: Fareham, Hampshire (based near the office, with nationwide travel)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + package
Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Optio Resourcing is working with an established retail construction contractor to recruit a Project Manager based near their Fareham office.

About the Business
Our client is a retail construction specialist with over 20 years of experience. They deliver new build, fit-out and refurbishment projects for major UK retailers and brands, through national frameworks and standalone projects. They’re experts in live environments, act as Principal Contractor, and employ a number of trades in-house. They also work across leisure, hospitality and commercial.

The Role

• Managing retail new build, fit-out and refurbishment projects from pre-start through to handover
• Delivering projects in live trading environments while keeping the business running as usual
• Controlling programme, budget, quality and health and safety
• Managing site teams, in-house trades and subcontractors
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, consultants and store teams
• Working under JCT, NEC and design & build contracts
• Travelling to projects nationwide, mainly across the South, Midlands and Wales

About You

• Proven Project Manager experience in retail construction or fit-out
• Experience with major retailers, such as ASDA, Tesco, M&S, Co-op, Primark or Pets at Home
• Comfortable delivering projects in live trading environments
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
• Full UK driving licence and happy to travel nationwide
• Based within commuting distance of Fareham
