We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join an MEP engineering company working on the HS2 project. The successful candidate will take a lead role in the design, technical coordination, and delivery of electrical engineering systems across the project. The role requires strong technical expertise in electrical design, the ability to manage complex engineering interfaces, and experience overseeing design development from concept through to construction, testing, commissioning, and handover. The successful candidate will ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant standards, project specifications, and HS2 requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the development, review, and coordination of electrical engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.Undertake and verify electrical design calculations, including load assessments, cable sizing, voltage drop, protection coordination, lighting, and containment design.Ensure electrical designs comply with relevant British Standards, industry regulations, project specifications, and applicable HS2 requirements.Manage electrical design interfaces with mechanical, public health, civil, structural, and other engineering disciplines.Review and approve technical submissions, design packages, drawings, and engineering documentation within the scope of delegated authority.Provide technical leadership and guidance to electrical engineers, designers, and site teams.Liaise ..... full job details .....
