An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Accountant to join a private equity backed renewables business in London. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring the financial integrity of the group, collaborating closely with various teams to deliver accurate and timely financial information. The key remits to the role include but are not limited to;

Preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements.Preparation monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Assisting with the preparation of the Quarterly Board Packs.Assisting the Annual Audit of the Group and all related activities.Supporting the annual budget process.Working with key stakeholders to maintain cost control.Technical lead for drafting and maintaining accounting and tax memos.Tracking cashflows to ensure there is enough liquidity for business activities and investments.Assisting with the preparation of the monthly group reporting pack.Preparation of monthly VAT returns.The Ideal candidate will be;

Qualified Accountant preferably with an audit backgroundExperience in working for a fast-growing scale-up.Proficient in financial reporting standards (IFRS / FRS102)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.Good knowledge of financial systems, preferably SUN systemsProven ability to meet tight deadlines.This is an exciting role to be part of a high growth renewables scale up at an exciting part of their journey. The role will require you to be in the office initially for 4 days a week, then reducing to 3 days a week.
