Capital and Contracts Lead . This role will provide oversight of capital programmes and contract management, with a strong focus on school estates and wider accommodation projects.Key Responsibilities

Lead a small team delivering the Schools Capital Programme (new builds, refurbishments, condition improvements).Work with departments on capital improvement programmes, particularly around accommodation with care and support.Audit and review contracts, ensuring compliance and effective supplier management.Advise on technical specifications for major repairs and capital works.Provide programme management and internal sign-offs for business cases.Support schools with the delivery of the condition improvement programme.Essential Experience

Proven experience delivering capital programmes and contract management within Local Government.Knowledge of school estates, refurbishment projects, and accommodation improvements.Strong programme and stakeholder management skills.Ability to advise on technical works and specifications.Contract Details

£562.52 per day, Inside IR35.Interim assignment, West Berkshire area.Only candidates with
