Salary: £54,000-£57,000 OTE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:30pm-10:00pm

About the Role

Tru Talent is delighted to be working with a well-established commercial vehicle business looking for an experienced Technician Supervisor / Workshop Supervisor to join their team in Kidderminster.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician ready to take the next step into leadership, combining hands-on technical work with supervising and supporting the late-shift workshop team.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include for the Workshop Supervisor:

• Leading and supporting the late-shift workshop team.

   

• Allocating work alongside the Workshop Controller.

   

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs and commercial vehicles.

   

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.

   

• Ensuring work meets DVSA and manufacturer standards.

   

• Supporting and mentoring technicians and apprentices.

   

• Completing workshop documentation using Keyloop/Kerridge.

   

• Maintaining a safe, efficient and organised workshop.

   

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• A Level 3 NVQ, IMI or City & Guilds qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.

   

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician.

   

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

   

• Leadership or supervisory experience (desirable).

   

• Good communication and organisational skills.

   

• A full UK driving licence.
