Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Teaching Assistant Salary: £100 per dayLocation: Rural Haywards HeathJob Type: Full time, Long Term Supply 8.40am to 3.55pm We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team, working directly with primary aged boys with social and emotional mental health issues (SEMH) within a special school. This role is integral to providing students with a supportive and effective learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the autonomy, independence, personal development, and employability of all students. Responsibilities: Assist the teacher with the curriculum delivery and support individual students or groups to achieve set targets.Engage in planning, organisation, and delivery of educational and work-related experiences for students.Share responsibility for the physical care of students and contribute to a safe learning environment.Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.Evaluate your practice and engage in professional development.Manage classroom resources, and emphasise the display and presentation of students'' work.Work creatively and flexibly with students with special educational needs to promote their development.Follow instructions and adhere to policy guidelines in all areas of work.Communicate clearly with staff, students, parents, the local community, and outside agencies.Contribute to the assessment, planning, and monitoring of individual learning
