Position - Residential Support Worker

Where you''ll be doing it - Gloucester, Gloucestershire

Your employment contract - Permanent

Your hours - Fulltime, involving shift work that''s planned in advance consisting of day shifts and sleep-ins. This will include some weekend working

Who would you be working for? A children and young people, care provider who provide homes for those who have experienced trauma. Their Behaviour Analysts support staff to deliver emotional wellbeing and create an environment of safety and trust

What would your responsibilities be? To be a successful Residential Support Worker, with the support of the Registered Manager, you will support the resident''s wellbeing, through therapeutic care, talking therapies and future progression into adulthood.

Requirements? We are looking for people who have worked with the same client group and able to build trusting relationships with professional boundaries. You will have a natural resilient, patient personality and be a team player. As this is a regulated working environment, a willingness to work towards your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is needed, unless already obtained or an equivalent qualification.
