Training and development. The Company: A subcontract manufacturing business is seeking a Quality Engineer to coordinate quality requirements throughout customer projects. The opportunity offers involvement from initial enquiry and contract review through to final product release, working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week. Job Description: The Quality Engineer will identify project quality requirements, prepare documentation and coordinate approvals to support delivery against customer specifications. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing RFQ packages, purchase orders and specifications to establish quality requirements. Preparing and maintaining inspection and test plans, FMEAs, control plans and product-release records. Coordinating supplier documentation and progressing customer and third-party approvals. Supporting customer meetings, site visits and witness activities. Communicating quality requirements to suppliers and reviewing raw material certification. Working alongside Project Managers, the Quality Engineer will track quality deliverables, documentation, approvals, risks and issues within the overall project plan.
